Privacy Policy

1.Information you give us

We only receive this information when you choose to provide it.

• Email address and name — when you download a free resource, join our email list, or send us a message through a contact form.
• Order and billing information — when you purchase a digital product, including your name, email address, billing address, and the items you bought. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.
• Account information — if you create a login for a course, membership, or member area, we receive your name, email address, and a record of the content you access and complete.
• Anything else you send us — the content of emails, form submissions, consulting inquiries, and event or workshop registrations.

2.Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours collects some technical information as you browse. This typically includes your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site or link that referred you, and general interaction data such as clicks, scrolling, searches, and timestamps. We use it to understand which resources are useful and to keep the site working properly. We do not use it to try to identify you personally.

3.Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. This site uses two kinds:

• Necessary cookies — required for the site to function securely, including keeping you logged in and holding items in a cart. These cannot be turned off without breaking parts of the site.
• Analytics and advertising cookies — used to measure site traffic and, where applicable, to show and measure ads on social platforms. You can decline or clear these.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Some features of the site may not work correctly if you do.

4.Facebook and other social platforms

We maintain a presence on Facebook and other social media platforms and may run paid ads there. To measure whether those ads work, we may use advertising and analytics tools provided by those platforms — for example, a Meta (Facebook) pixel that records that a visitor arrived from an ad or completed an action such as downloading a resource. We may also upload an email list to a platform so that our ads reach people already on that list, or reach people with similar interests. Emails used this way are matched in encrypted form.

When you interact with us on a social platform, that platform collects information under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. You can limit personalized advertising in your ad settings on each platform.

5.How we use your information

• To send you the free resources and materials you request.
• To process, deliver, and support your purchases.
• To create and manage course, membership, or member-area accounts.
• To send newsletters, resource announcements, and professional learning updates — which you can stop at any time.
• To respond to consulting, workshop, and speaking inquiries.
• To improve our resources, understand which topics are useful, and run and measure advertising.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and to protect the site against fraud or misuse.

6.Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade our email list.

We share information only with the service providers who make the site run, and only to the extent they need it to do their job for us:

• Our website host and store platform, which hosts the site and processes orders and accounts.
• Our payment processor, which handles card transactions.
• Our email marketing provider, which delivers newsletters and resource downloads.
• Social media and advertising platforms, as described in Section 4.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our legal rights, the safety of others, or the integrity of the site. If Administrator Avenue is ever sold or merged, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction.

7.Email and your choices

• Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
• We may still send you transactional messages — a receipt, a download link, or a course notification — even if you have unsubscribed from marketing.
• You can email joe@administratoravenue.com to ask what information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We respond to reasonable requests within 30 days. Records we are required to keep for tax or accounting purposes may be retained.

8.How we protect and keep information

We rely on established platforms that encrypt data in transit, limit access to accounts we control, and process payments through providers that meet payment card security standards. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described here, or as long as the law requires.

9.Children’s privacy

This site is intended for adults working in education. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email joe@administratoravenue.com and we will delete it.

10.Your privacy rights

Several states give residents specific rights over their personal information. Depending on where you live and the size of the business, you may not be legally entitled to all of these — we honor them for anyone who asks, in any state.

• Know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it.
• Get a copy of it.
• Correct it if it is wrong.
• Delete it, apart from records we are required to keep for tax or accounting purposes.
• Opt out of having your information used for personalized advertising.
• Be treated the same either way — you get the same resources, prices, and service whether or not you exercise any of these.

To make a request, email joe@administratoravenue.com and tell us what you would like. We may need to confirm your identity before we act, and we respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money, and never have. California treats some advertising activity — including the Meta (Facebook) tools described in Section 4 — as “sharing” even when no money changes hands. To opt out of that: decline advertising cookies in the cookie banner on this site, or email joe@administratoravenue.com and we will exclude you from our advertising audiences.

11.Links to other sites

Our site and resources link to other websites, tools, and documents we did not create. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Review the privacy policy of any site you visit from ours.

12.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our site and services change. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised — this version is effective August 26, 2026. Material changes will be posted on this page; continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.

13.Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
